Here is why it works so well

CoEnzyme Q10

CoQ10 is actually an enzyme that is naturally produced by your body. It is found within every tissue, every cell and every part of your body and is important for many of the biological functions that take place. It helps to produce energy within the body. Studies have actually shown that as much as 95% of the energy produced within the body is helped along by the CoQ10 enzyme. All of those free radicals that are present in your body doing harm are neutralized by CoQ10 enzymes.

Your entire is body kept healthy from the skin on the outside to the cells on the inside and everything else in between! Biochemical reactions cause the cells to regenerate and multiply. With decreasing amounts of Coenzyme Q10, there will be less new cell growth and older looking skin. As we age, the amount of the enzyme CoQ10 is reduced because the body no longer produces enough of it to keep up with the need. When CoQ10 levels decrease in the body, the signs of aging start to show. Your cells will be unable to regenerate at the same speed that they once could and the ability for the body to be able to withstand stress declines, leading to decreased collagen and less youthful looking skin.

Alpha Lipoic acid

Alpha lipoic acid is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory found in every cell of the body. Alpha lipoic acid protects both cell membranes and the inside of cells against oxidative damage, helping skin attain a youthful and healthy appearance.

Resveratrol

In nature, resveratrol functions as part of a plant’s defensive arsenal. Resveratrol is an antimicrobial substance produced by plants in response to stress, infection, or strong UV radiation. In recent years, resveratrol in particular has become the subject of intense interest due to its powerful antioxidant and anti-aging properties. It appears that resveratrol exerts its potent antioxidant effects on two distinct levels: (1) by scavenging existing free radicals and (2) by preventing their formation. The antioxidant ability of resveratrol is known to be both potent and efficient. In fact, it has been shown to be greater than that of vitamins E and C. One study demonstrated that resveratrol was 95% efficient at preventing lipid peroxidation, compared to 65% for vitamin E and 37% for vitamin C.1

Green Tea Extract

Green tea extract is associated with several skin benefits. Green tea extract is derived from leaves of Camellia sinensis. Green tea extract is naturally rich in antioxidants, which has a cell-protecting function as well. It’s a strong antioxidant effect that protects the skin from the damaging effect of free radicals. Green tea extract also contains the Methylxanthines that stimulates skin microcirculation and therefore positively influence the tone and health of the skin. Green tea extract can actually decrease wrinkles and also makes you look younger. It is useful to incorporate green tea extract into your skin care product to possibly slow down skin aging.

Green tea extract is a good anti-inflammatory agent thereby reducing inflammation in the skin, and most importantly having an inhibitory action on collagenase (a collagen-reducing enzyme that breaks down collagen). Since green tea extract helps to inhibit collagenase, the topical use of green tea helps to promote the health and quantity of collagen, thereby maintaining a firm and elastic skin. In one clinical study is was shown that the skin had measurably more elastic tissue content after continuous application of a product containing green tea extract. Green tea extract appears to exert a sun protective effect by quenching free radicals and reducing inflammation.

Grape Seed Extract

The components of this oil are extremely rich in beta-carotene and vitamins D, C, E. It also happens to have a concentration of essential fatty acids like palmitic, stearic, and linoleic acid. These fatty acids have performed well in clinical anti-wrinkle trials. They have also proven to be effective at minimizing the prominence and size of scars. Nutrient-rich grape seed oil extract has found its way into myriad cosmetic products, especially products meant for the face to moisturize. Products that contain grape seed oil extract are all rich in polyphenols. These polyphenols are anti-inflammatory antioxidants known to retard the aging process.

It effectively moisturizes the skin, balancing both dry and oily patches. Biochemical research into grape seed oil extract has found it is rich in oligomeric proanthocyanidins. Otherwise known by the acronym OPC, these flavonoids remove free radicals and promote the restoration of collagen at the cellular level, making skin feel more firm and minimizing more signs of damage. This contributes to keeping your face smooth to the touch and youthful in appearance.

Argan Oil

Pure Argan oil is one of the rarest oils in the world and is revered for its rich concentration of vitamins and minerals. The oil contains high levels of tocopherols, powerful antioxidants that are vital for healthy skin and hair. High levels of carotenes, phenolic acid, squalene and phenols also contribute to the oil’s cosmetic value. The oil is composed of 42.8% oleic fatty acids and 36.8% linoleic fatty acids, both of which contribute to its healing and moisturizing properties. Argan oil also contains squalenes that help protect collagen and make skin softer. Phenolic compounds found in the oil help protect the skin from harmful free radicals that contaminate skin and leave it dull, lifeless and dry.

Argan oil is most commonly used as a skin moisturizer to hydrate and soften skin. With its high Vitamin E and fatty acid content, Argan oil is the ideal product to give skin a natural boost. It absorbs easily and is non-greasy and non-irritating, which makes it a great natural moisturiser.
